Law Firm Advertising Brings On 'Miami Heat' At NTL Summit

The 2nd Annual National Trial Lawyers (NTL) Summit was recently held on January 27-30, 2013 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The Wholesale Airtime Auction (WAA) co-sponsored the Summit to promote its fire sale auction for law firm advertising.

With the theme "Transform Your Business, Your Practice, and Your Skills", the three-day event became a mix of business and pleasure as delegates from all over the country took time to attend seminars and enjoy the breathtaking South Beach resort. The agenda included an orientation for the APITLA (Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America), case presentations and lectures on trial techniques, law firm advertising and social media, and various social events.

M. Dennis Frey, the WAA Director of Sales, had the privilege to address the delegates during the opening ceremony breakout session. He said afterwards, "the 2nd Annual NTL Summit had a wonderful turnout of attorneys focusing on the development of their businesses, and the Summit coordinators did a wonderful job of ensuring that we were able to work closely with the attendees to help introduce our Wholesale Airtime Auction and explain how we are able to work with our law firm advertising clients to fine-tune their marketing efforts and help develop their mass tort business."

At the poolside party event, the participants had the chance to see Kenny Rogers for an up-close performance. "It was a treat to be able to see Kenny Rogers perform live in front of such a small intimate group, which also enabled me to better interact with the summit attendees and begin to build fruitful long-term friendships and business development relationships," Frey commented.

At the trade exhibit, WAA had the opportunity to demonstrate how the fire sale auction can provide bulk remnant TV ad packages for legal TV advertising at 3 to 50 cents on the dollar. The auction uses CPM-based bidding that determines the price of law firm advertising based on the impressions the ads will generate.
